Coastal Café Coming Soon to Park Green

Construction work is in full swing at the new Coastal Café on Evergreen Parade. Works are progressing swiftly; site excavations have been completed, and the concrete slab foundations have been poured.

The café is located right on the water’s edge alongside the esplanade reserve. It will be drenched in all day sun and sure to be a popular meeting place for family, friends, and visitors. There will be lots of indoor and outdoor seating with floor-to-ceiling windows meaning there will be uninterrupted views across the water no matter what the weather.

This will be a local gem where you can grab a coffee and get out and enjoy this unique Pahurehure Inlet location. The scenic walkway along the esplanade is a combination of paved path and boardwalk set in stunning landscaped surrounds. It’s perfect for strolling with the pram, walking the dog or a cycle with the kids. There are also plenty of park benches and grassy picnic areas along the walkway that are well worth a stop.

We are currently working with an experienced operator with a passion for providing exceptional local hospitality and creating that genuine village atmosphere at Park Green.

The Coastal Café is planned to be fully operational in early 2024.
