New Playground on the way at Park Green!

This exciting addition to the Park Green community is being funded, designed, and built by the Hugh Green Group

We are delighted to announce that a brand-new playground is coming to Park Green!

The design incorporates nature play elements and caters to both younger and older children. Features include various play equipment, and park furniture. The playground will offer diverse play options, not solely reliant on equipment. The park will feature two play areas and an informal kick-around space, providing opportunities for both passive and active recreation.

The area for younger children will be surrounded by appropriate vegetation, while the area for older children will be kept open. Pedestrian accessways will connect the park to the neighbourhood and the Esplanade Reserve, enhancing pedestrian connectivity through the development.

It is envisaged that there will be extensive landscaping, nature play and trees.

The project is a significant investment and signifies’ the Hugh Green Group’s commitment to creating a quality and attractive residential community at Park Green.

The Local Board has endorsed the playground. Detailed design to achieve Council approvals (EPA) is now underway.

We expect to provide further updates on delivery timing once approvals have been granted.

We want to acknowledge the willingness the developers have shown in engaging with our Parks and Community Facilities people to create a concept plan for the park. The company has sought to provide a park capable of meeting the immediate leisure needs of the community that will grow in the area.
